For over 25 years Stephen Layne has created exceptional bronze and wood sculpture, that show in Philadelphia, New York and Washington DC. The National Sculpture Society and Allied Artists of America have awarded Stephen 3 Gold medals for his work.  Stephen selectively accepts public & private commissions.
Stephen Layne is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (1994) and has taught at The University of the Arts, The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and  Moore College of Art and Design.
Layne is featured in Sculpture Review Magazine, HBO, Comcast Sportsnet, NPR, The Associated Press, to name a few. A Fellow of the prestigious National Sculpture Society, NY, Layne has given numerous guest lectures on his work and career at the National Sculptor’s Convnention, Washington DC, and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, PA. His longstanding gallery career includes group and solo exhibitions in Philadelphia, New York and Washington DC.
